Travelogix Integrates with Tres Technologies in U.S. Expansion Push

[ad_1]

Travel data solution provider Travelogix has integrated with back-office technology provider Tres Technologies, which the company said will boost its expansion efforts among U.S.-based travel management companies.

Travelogix’s initial integration is with the Tres API, which the companies said will make it easier to onboard TMCs and deliver and cleanse data. Those TMCs then can access Travelogix’s data products, including data consolidation tool Analytix, duty-of-care platform Geo and airline incentive management platform Farecast.

Tres was founded by Lee Rosen, the founder of travel agency back-office and customer relationship company Trams, and Tres last year acquired Trams from Sabre. The Tres platform is “a new, enhanced version of a combined ClientBase and Trams” that it launched this year, according to Tres. Travelogix now has begun integration with the Trams API, which will enable Travelogix to provide its services to TMCs and agencies still using the legacy system as well.

The integration “solidifies our drive into North America and enables our team to execute the plan that we set out at the turn of the year,” according to Travelogix founder and CEO Chris Lewis, who added that the U.S. would be a “key market” for the company going forward. “This will become our sixth international market beyond the U.K. and EU, and the natural next step for Travelogix is to grow and expand into the thriving U.S arena.”

TMCs currently working with Travelogix include TakeTwo, Netherlands-based Munckhof, Australia-based Maxim’s Travel and U.K.-based Clyde Travel Management, Meon Valley Business Travel and Sunways Business Travel.
