Jeremy Renner’s Chest Was ‘Crushed’ by Snowplow, 911 Call Log Reveals – Hollywood Life

Image Credit: MEGA Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner, 51, suffered a terrible accident involving a snowcat on Jan. 1, and now, a 911 call log obtained by TMZ on Jan. 4 revealed that the actor’s chest was reportedly “completely crushed” during the incident. In addition, the log claimed that Jeremy was having “extreme difficulty” being able to breathe at the time of the snowplow accident. The call log also stated that the 51-year-old was “experiencing heavy bleeding” from his head and suffered other “unknown injuries.” He was even reportedly heard “moaning” in the background at the time of injury. It is important to note that HollywoodLife reached out to the local PIO and they could not confirm the validity that the star was “moaning” in the background of the call.
The reported 911 call log comes just one day after Washoe County held a press conference to release details on the matter. Local Sheriff Darin Balaam revealed that Jeremy was working on attempting to get a family member’s car out of the snow when his PistenBully snowplow machine ran over him. The occurrence resulted in the Hollywood hunk being “critically injured” and was also hospitalized. “Mr. Renner went to retrieve his PistenBully, or snowcat — an extremely large piece of snow-removal equipment weighing at least 14,330 pounds — in an effort to get his vehicle moving. After successfully towing his personal vehicle from its stuck location, Mr. Renner got out of his PistenBully to speak to his family member,” Darin said at the time.
Sadly, when Jeremy went to hop back into the vehicle that is when things turned. “In an effort to stop the rolling PistenBully, Mr. Renner attempts to get back into the driver’s seat of the PistenBully. Based on our investigation, it’s at this point that Mr. Renner is run over by the PistenBully,” the sheriff added. The official also confirmed that no foul play is believed to be involved in Jeremy’s accident.

Jeremy Renner suffered a snowplow accident on Jan. 1. (MEGA) The Marvel actor broke his silence on the matter on Jan. 3, via Instagram. “Thank you all for your kind words,” he captioned the selfie from his hospital bed on Tuesday. “Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.” Many of his 19 million followers flooded the comments section of the post with well wishes for the father-of-one. “Get will soon Hawkeye, sending you my love and support,” one admirer wrote, while another added, “You look amazing all considering!! Praying for complete healing and recovery!” At the time of accident, TMZ also reported that a neighbor witnessed the tragedy, and rushed to help Jeremy. The neighbor who was reportedly a doctor “put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived”, the outlet claims they were told.
Jeremy’s many celebrity friends also took to the comments section to wish him a quick recovery and send their love. “Sending love your way,” How I Met Your Mother alum Cobie Smulders wrote, while TV host Jimmy Fallon added, “Lotsa love out there for you bud.” Even Carnival Row star Orlando Bloom made sure to send his love to Jeremy. “Sending prayers brah,” the 45-year-old actor penned. Other well wishes came from the California-native’s other friends like Glass Onion star Kate Hudson, actress Penélope Cruz, Pretty Little Liars alum Ashley Benson, and many more. Jeremy is a proud dad to his nine-year-old daughter, Ava Renner, who he welcomed with his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco.

Man chews on victim’s face in berserk attack — RT World News
[ad_1]
Bizarre details of the grisly assault on an elderly man emerged after interrogation
A 25-year-old Oregon resident is in custody after an attack on an elderly man, with police saying the victim was left with gruesome injuries after his assailant chewed off one of his ears and a large portion of his face.
The Gresham Police Department detailed the harrowing incident on Tuesday, saying that officers responded to a call about a “possible stabbing” just after 2:00am local time near a train platform in Gresham, where witnesses said they saw a “significant amount of blood.” When they arrived, the suspect was “still on top of the victim, continuing the attack,” but was quickly subdued and arrested.
Turning their attention to the victim – a 78-year-old-man who was not named by police – officers discovered horrific wounds, including some “so severe that responders could see the victim’s skull.” One of the man’s ears was also missing, apparently gnawed off by the perpetrator.
During the interrogation, the attacker later told police he believed the elderly man was a “robot” who was trying to kill him, and that he was able to determine this by the victim’s “scent,” according to local media. He reportedly admitted to using various drugs, including alcohol, cannabis and fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid.
While police said the suspect initially provided a false name, he was later identified as Koryn Kraemer, 25, who had recently moved to the Portland area from Georgia and now faces a second-degree assault charge. Investigators have not suggested any motive for the vicious assault, and said they would attempt to determine “whether illicit drugs played any part in the suspect’s actions.”
Kraemer’s first court appearance came on Wednesday, when he pleaded not guilty to his charge. He will be held without bail until his next hearing.
The case shares similarities with another cannibalistic attack in Florida in 2012 that garnered national headlines, in which assailant Rudy Eugene maimed his victim by biting off parts of his face. Dubbed the “Miami Zombie,” Eugene was initially believed to be in the grips of drug-induced psychosis at the time of the attack, with multiple media outlets suggesting he was a user of “bath salts,” though toxicology reports later failed to detect traces of the drug in his system.

Emily Ratajkowski Talks About ‘The Worst Men’ After Pete Davidson Split
[ad_1]

Ratajkowski at the Harper’s BAZAAR ICONS Party, September 2022. Stephen Lovekin/ShutterstockKnowing her worth. Emily Ratajkowski opened up about her dating woes following her split from Pete Davidson — and she didn’t hold back.
“That’s what I hate with dating … men in particular,” the Gone Girl actress, 31, said on the Tuesday, January 3, episode of her “High Low” podcast. “They’re like, ‘OK, yes, you’re special. You’ve done it.’ And they love it and love it, and then slowly they get emasculated and … don’t know what to do with those feelings, and then they resent you.”
The model, who called sexuality a “sliding scale” in November 2022, continued: “They start to tear you down, and then you’re back to square one. And it’s so f—ked up and unfair, because I feel like a lot of men who truly think they want a strong woman actually don’t know how to handle it and … what it means for their own identity.”
Ratajkowski was joined by TikTok star Olivia Ponton on Tuesday’s episode, and the two went on to discuss the differences between being in relationships with men and women. Ponton claimed that some men are “intimidated” by “powerful women” but didn’t know why.

Emily Ratajkowski attends the Variety Power of Women Event, May 2022. Gregory Pace/ShutterstockRatajkowski, for her part, spoke about men who feel they have something to “prove.”
“I said to my girlfriend, ‘I feel like I attract the worst men,’” she recalled. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘F—k.’ Because I want a confident man. I don’t want an overly confident man who has something to prove and is trying to prove it through me. That is not what I want.”
In November 2022, Us Weekly confirmed that Davidson, 29, was dating the My Body author three months after his split from Kim Kardashian. (Ratajkowski, for her part, filed for divorce from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in September.)
“Pete and Emily have been talking for a couple months now,” an insider exclusively revealed to Us at the time. “Pete makes Emily laugh and he loves how intelligent she is.”
Another insider added at the time: “There’s no doubt Pete loves a challenge and he’s certainly met his intellectual match in Emily.”
After being spotted out and about at various events throughout the last two months, Davidson and Ratajkowski sparked split speculation after being photographed with other people. The comedian was seen at a New York Rangers game on December 15, 2022, with his Bodies, Bodies, Bodies costars Chase Sui Wonders and Rachel Sennott, while the California native was spotted kissing artist Jack Greer on December 21, 2022.
Us confirmed the pair’s breakup on December 29, 2022, with a source explaining the two were “over” and the split was amicable. After she and Davidson called it quits, Ratajkowski shared she was back on dating apps.

PPE Medpro gave ‘invalid’ accreditation for gowns, UK government claims
[ad_1]
PPE Medpro tried to sell the UK medical equipment with a safety report purportedly provided by a company that has denied authoring the document, the government has alleged in a £133mn lawsuit against the scandal-riven medical supplies group.
PPE Medpro, incorporated just weeks before it signed its first contract with the Department of Health and Social Care, provided a test report from Intertek, an accreditation company. But Intertek denied issuing the document, according to the department’s lawsuit against PPE Medpro.
The department’s complaint, filed in December with the High Court and recently obtained by the Financial Times, also alleges PPE Medpro provided 72 lots of gowns stamped with a CE mark, which verifies that a product has been assessed by an accredited body. It is also a legal requirement for products that need to be “sterile”.
However, PPE Medpro did not include a number indicating which body had performed the accreditation, the lawsuit said.
PPE Medpro has not yet responded to the lawsuit.
PPE Medpro has for months been embroiled in a scandal after reports that lingerie entrepreneur Baroness Michelle Mone lobbied ministers using their personal email addresses to help ensure the company received lucrative government contracts totalling more than £200mn. She has consistently denied having any relationship with the company.
Late last year bank documents reported by The Guardian and the FT outlined how at least £65mn in profits from the company were sent to accounts that benefited Mone or her husband, Douglas Barrowman, who had also previously denied involvement with PPE Medpro.
The new lawsuit alleges PPE Medpro provided “invalid” information about the health and safety of the products themselves during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
When a representative from the government contacted the company to inquire about the provenance of the CE marking on the gowns, PPE Medpro director Anthony Page — a business associate of Barrowman — confirmed the medical equipment “did not have the requisite notified body accreditation”, according to the legal filings.
During a second and separate PPE tendering process, PPE Medpro provided a test report it said had been performed by Intertek with the code SHAT06648491, the legal filings state, which Intertek “denied having issued”.
Intertek did not respond to a request for comment.
The lawsuit said 92 per cent of the 60 PPE Medpro gowns tested by the government were found not to be sterile. It also stated the gowns were single- rather than double-wrapped, in breach of requirements, and that they “could not be used within the NHS for any purpose”.
On December 23 the government wrote to PPE Medpro, rejecting the gowns because “they did not comply with relevant laws applying to medical devices and because PPE Medpro had failed to provide certification to establish that the gowns had been reliably sterilised for medical use, rendering them unusable in the NHS”.
The government is seeking repayment of £122mn for the gowns along with £11.6mn for costs incurred as part of the case.
PPE Medpro did not respond to a request for comment. It previously told the FT that the gowns “were manufactured to the correct quality standards and specification set out in the contract, delivered on time and at a price that was 50 per cent of what DHSC had been paying at the time”.
It claimed that DHSC rejected the gowns because it had “vastly over ordered” PPE and realised it would not be able to use the items, adding: “DHSC’s cynical attempt to recover money from suppliers like PPE Medpro, who acted in good faith and to contract specifications, will be found out through the civil court process.”
DHSC said: “We do not comment on matters that are the subject of ongoing legal proceedings.”

- Ethereum is moving higher above the $1,220 and $1,240 resistance levels.
- The price is now trading above $1,220 and the 100 hourly simple moving average.
- There was a break above a key contracting triangle with resistance near $1,215 on the hourly chart of ETH/USD (data feed via Kraken).
- The pair could rise further if there is a clear move above the $1,300 resistance.
Ethereum Price Gains Bullish Momentum
Ethereum price formed a base above the $1,200 level. ETH started a decent increase and was able to clear the $1,220 resistance zone, similar to bitcoin.
There was a break above a key contracting triangle with resistance near $1,215 on the hourly chart of ETH/USD. It opened the doors for a move above the $1,250 resistance zone. The price tested the $1,270 zone and a high is formed near $1,271.
Ether price is now trading above $1,220 and the 100 hourly simple moving average. It is now correcting gains below $1,260. There was a move below the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the recent increase from the $1,204 swing low to $1,271 high.
Source: ETHUSD on TradingView.com
An immediate resistance is near the $1,260 level. The next major resistance is near the $1,275 level. A clear move above the $1,275 resistance could another upward move. In the stated case, the price may perhaps rise towards the $1,300 resistance. The next major resistance could be $1,350, above which the price could surge towards the $1,420 resistance zone.
Dips Limited in ETH?
If ethereum fails to clear the $1,275 resistance, it could correct further lower. An initial support on the downside is near the $1,240 level.
The next major support is near the $1,230 level. It is near the 50% Fib retracement level of the recent increase from the $1,204 swing low to $1,271 high. A downside break below $1,230 might send the price towards the $1,220 support. Any more losses might call for a test of the $1,200 zone.
