Furthermore, the report also suggests that Samsung is planning to bring the 5G model of the upcoming Galaxy A04s 5G smartphone at a price below Rs. 11,000 in India.
As reported by 91mobiles, the upcoming Galaxy A04s 5G smartphone from Samsung could also come in a 5G variant model in India. The report also says that the company is planning to price the 5G model of the upcoming smartphone under Rs. 11,000 segments, as per the report. Following this, the Samsung Galaxy A04s will be one of the first 5G budget phones in India.
Another noted point from the report is that the Galaxy A04s 5G is currently in the testing phase and might take a month or two to launch officially.
As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy A04s has already been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website revealing some specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The listing revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A04s will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 SoC with a base clock speed of 2GHz.

The earlier report, which included leaked renders and specifications of the smartphone had said that the Galaxy A04s is expected to get a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution display with a V-shaped notch at the top. The smartphone is also expected to sport features similar to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A03s, which was launched in India in August last year.

The contenders to replace Johnson are scrambling to distance themselves from the scandal-tainted politician who has resigned as party leader but remains Britain’s prime minister for a few more weeks — despite the fact that most of them have served in his government over the past three years. Johnson, meanwhile, has largely disappeared from the scene.
He has not attended any government emergency meetings about a heat wave that is forecast to bring temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) to Britain. In a televised debate on Sunday, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss accused Sunak of hiking taxes to the highest level in 70 years. He argued the hikes were necessary to damp down soaring inflation, and accused Truss, who has promised immediate tax cuts, of peddling “something-for-nothing economics.”
Penny Mordaunt, a trade minister who has emerged as a strong challenger in the contest, has appealed in vain for an end to “mudslinging,” much of which has been directed at her. She has been accused by opponents of wanting to make it easier for people to change gender — a hot-button issue for some Conservatives — and of neglecting her government duties in order to prepare her leadership bid.
Conservative lawmakers will hold the latest in a series of elimination votes later Monday to reduce the number of candidates — already slimmed from an initial 11 — from five to four. Sunak, Mordaunt and Truss are widely expected to remain in the contest, with backbench lawmaker Tom Tugendhat or former Equalities Minister Kemi Badenoch facing elimination. Further rounds of voting are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday to produce two finalists. The final pair will face a vote by about 180,000 Conservative Party members across the country.
The winner is scheduled to be announced Sept. 5 and will automatically become prime minister, without the need for a national election. Fielding said that may prove problematic for the new leader, because he or she will be chosen by a Conservative membership — “primarily white, southern, very well-off” — with political priorities very different to the general electorate as a whole.
Johnson won the Conservatives a commanding parliamentary majority in 2019, but he has been plagued by scandal since then, including being accused of misleading Parliament about government office parties that broke COVID-19 lockdown rules. Johnson clung to power despite being fined by police over “partygate,” but finally quit on July 7 after one scandal too many — appointing a politician who had been accused of sexual misconduct — drove ministers to resign en masse.
Cabinet Office Minister Kit Malthouse, a long-time Johnson ally, argued that the party’s testy debate was healthy, and predicted Conservatives would reunite in a “spirit of harmony and love” after the leadership campaign.But Tim Bale, professor of politics at Queen Mary University of London, said that was overly optimistic.
“The manner of Johnson’s departure unfortunately injected quite a lot of poison into the (party) bloodstream,” he said. “It will take time to work its way out.”

Chelsea Football Club has hired Tom Glick as senior executive to lead its commercial operations under new owners Clearlake Capital and American billionaire Todd Boehly.
Glick, formerly chief commercial officer of the parent group of Manchester City, has been named president of business to oversee Chelsea’s commercial strategy, revenue growth and improving engagement with fans, the club said on Monday.
He brings 30 years of sports and marketing experience to the English Premier League team, as Boehly and US investment firm Clearlake try to execute their plans for the club. Boehly spearheaded a consortium that acquired Chelsea in May for £2.5bn from sanctioned Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the sanctions on Abramovich, presented a rare opportunity for Clearlake and Boehly, who co-owns the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team and the LA Lakers basketball side, to acquire one of the world’s most successful football teams with a global fan base.
The appointment comes after confirmation that former director Marina Granovskaia, who played a key role in signing and selling players in the Abramovich era, would be leaving the club. Bruce Buck, the former Skadden lawyer who advised Abramovich on the acquisition of Chelsea in 2003, stepped down as chair at the end of June.
Chelsea highlighted Glick’s role as former president of business operations for the Carolina Panthers, a job he held until February, crediting him with overseeing improvements to the US National Football League side’s Bank of America stadium.
Behdad Eghbali and José Feliciano, who founded Clearlake, said Glick had the “experience and credentials to elevate our significant global standing”. They added that Glick could help strengthen the club through investments in squad additions, infrastructure, technology, the youth academy and the women’s team.
Boehly and Clearlake have earmarked an additional £1.75bn for investment at Chelsea, including plans to expand and modernise the 40,267-capacity Stamford Bridge home ground, which lags behind rivals such as Manchester United’s 74,140-seater Old Trafford.
Chelsea’s men’s team is touring the US ahead of the new Premier League season, which starts in August. Under Boehly and Clearlake, Chelsea has signed England striker Raheem Sterling from Premier League champions Manchester City, and defender Kalidou Koulibaly from Italian side Napoli, as the new ownership group fights to win trophies.
“We have a huge opportunity here to enhance performance across the board, on behalf of everyone we serve,” said Glick.
His teammate, Austin Dillon, quipped on just how awkward it would be for everyone.
“If you’ve worked with Tyler Reddick at all, it’s always awkward,” Dillon said. “So it’s nothing new. Tyler is a good dude, me and him have a good relationship. He’s just different.”

Austin Dillon says he has a good relationship with Tyler Reddick and has been in no discussions about RCR wanting a change in the Reddick car for 2023.
Dillon said he congratulated Reddick on his new deal, but the fallout of the decision dominated the conversation in the NASCAR garage at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this past weekend.
RCR had already picked up Reddick’s option for 2023 but had not signed him to a new deal as it worked to find sponsors that might be willing to lock in Reddick for the next several years. Reddick, considered one of the top young drivers as a two-time Xfinity champion and it just being a matter of experience before he contends for Cup titles, opted to take the 23XI Racing offer to secure his future when no long-term deal was presented to him.
The ripple effects of the decision are endless.
“It’s probably more awkward in the beginning than it really is once you get racing,” Kevin Harvick said. “Right now, the hard part is answering all the questions and getting through that side of things.”

Based on his previous experience under similar circumstances, Kevin Harvick offers his thoughts on what Tyler Reddick will deal with over the next 16 months.
Harvick can relate to Reddick. Late in the 2012 season, he told RCR that 2013 would be his last year with the team before moving to Stewart-Haas Racing. He won the weekend the news broke and then four times the following year, although he nearly lost the ride when he made heat-of-the-moment disparaging comments about Dillon, who is the grandson of Childress.
“In a situation like that, you probably almost work harder to make it as good as possible just because of the fact that your reputation is important to be able to walk away from something like that from a business side of things as you go forward,” Harvick said.
The most obvious question is whether there is a way for RCR and Reddick to part ways after this season. It would take a lot of work to get that done, and the bigger question is would it be worth it without a driver of Reddick’s caliber likely readily available. Yes, there are some bruised egos, but Reddick gives the team a chance to win and make the playoffs.
A team’s finish in the final standings determines earnings for the next three years under NASCAR’s current payout plan. So it makes smart business sense to finish as high as possible.
Childress wasn’t at New Hampshire, but Reddick and 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin both said they have had no discussions about trying to get Reddick to 23XI Racing a year early.
Reddick said he has not been asked to see if any team could take him next year.
“I haven’t thought about that,” Reddick said. “I’m going to go out here and do what I do every weekend for this team. … I have every intention of finishing out everything I agreed to do with RCR.”

Tyler Reddick says he has had no discussions with anyone at RCR about the possibility of him leaving after this season.
Dillon also said he had heard none of that talk.
“From our side, we’ve got to think of it as a business decision on anything that we do,” Dillon said.
There isn’t any room at 23XI in 2023 anyway, as the organization already has its drivers in Kurt Busch and Bubba Wallace. The announcement made it seem as though Busch likely will retire after his two-year deal ends in 2023. Busch had talked about possibly retiring before this season and then opted for the two-year deal at 23XI. He said this doesn’t change his timeline on that decision.
“It’s a matter of what is the right option,” Busch said. “And when all signs point towards this or that, the great thing that I have right now is a lot of respect from the race team. … They’ve all said that I have a seat as long as I want it.
“That’s so valuable to me. It makes me smile and want to race harder and work harder. So there’s still plenty of options that we’re looking at it.”
If Busch opts to continue to drive, 23XI Racing would need to purchase a charter as Wallace’s spot seems secure for at least a couple more years.
Kurt Busch: Reddick signing doesn’t change timeline
Kurt Busch says that 23XI Racing signing Tyler Reddick starting in 2024 doesn’t change his timeline on a decision whether to retire following the 2023 season.
With Reddick off the market, the ripple effects go beyond RCR and 23XI. It means that other drivers who are free agents now might be in higher demand now that teams won’t be worried about needing money in hopes of signing Reddick. Kyle Busch still doesn’t have a contract for Joe Gibbs Racing, which is trying to find a sponsor to replace M&M’s.
“It doesn’t matter how soon or how late it gets done — until there’s an announcement that somebody else is driving the 18 car, I feel like I still have a seat,” Busch said.
Busch confirmed that talks with other teams have picked up.
“Anything’s possible,” he said. “There’s all kinds of different things that can play out. It’s just a matter what does.”
Joe Gibbs indicated that the team continues to work on getting Busch signed.
“We’re working really hard to try and get things done, and it is hard,” Gibbs said. “You’ve got to put a lot in place to make things work out, and we’re working as hard as we can. We’re going after it in a number of different directions.”
Kyle Busch on future plans
Kyle Busch says until someone else is announced to drive the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 car, he feels he has a seat there.
It also could mean that teams take another look at Erik Jones, who said he is close to signing a deal to remain at Petty GMS Racing. Petty GMS already has announced that Jones’ teammate, Ty Dillon, won’t return. Noah Gragson is considered the leading candidate for that ride.
Those decisions tend to align with sponsorships, and this is the time of year when sponsorships are up for renewal. That is probably what makes it tough for RCR.
“Obviously it puts the current team in a tough spot, just because of the fact that they probably didn’t get most of their sponsorship stuff done because [the Reddick announcement] happened so early,” Harvick said. “Usually, that stuff happens in August, September, November. From the team side, that’ll probably be the most difficult part.”
While drivers can be nervous about their futures at this time, Reddick just has to wonder what will happen.
“He made it real adamant that me and him are going to go out there and push each other the rest of our time together, try and win races and get it back to RCR,” Dillon said.
“And that’s what the main thing I was focused on — trying to make sure … all the men and women back at the shop that put in all the hard work, they know that we’re focused on winning the championship with both these cars.”
Denny Hamlin on hiring Tyler Reddick for ’24
Denny Hamlin says Tyler Reddick’s decision to join 23XI Racing in 2024 gives the organization a sense of legitimacy.
With the threat of potentially more winners than playoff spots this season, there has been the suggestion of not limiting the number of playoff spots if there are more than 16 winners during the regular season.
The thought is that the first round could eliminate as many drivers as needed to get to 12. If there are 18 winners, then six get eliminated in the opening round.
That isn’t a horrible idea, but the drama of whether someone with a win might not make the playoffs actually adds some interest to the regular season. It’s another reason why drivers with one win would continue to push throughout the regular season.
Playoffs in all sports are designed to create a sense of urgency and weed out those who don’t perform during the regular season. A one-win year in a season with parity should require some consistency when it comes to points.
So while the idea has merit, let’s keep the playoff field capped at 16. That system has worked for the past several years, and it doesn’t need to be tweaked.

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G (Review) was a good upgrade over the Reno 6 Pro (Review) as it switched to a flat display, got stereo speakers and had improved camera sensors, all packaged in a premium design with a fancy notification LED strip around the camera module. Now, Oppo has launched its Reno 8 Pro 5G in India, along with the Reno 8 5G. It boasts of an overhauled design, similar cameras but with a few minor updates, and it gets a newer processor.

The Reno 8 Pro 5G, just like the Reno 7 Pro, is available in a single variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storagethat is priced at Rs. 45,999, which already seems a bit higher than similarly spec’ed smartphones such as the OnePlus 10R 5G (from Rs. 38,999) and the Realme GT Neo 3 (from Rs. 36,999). Last year’s Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G launched at Rs. 39,999 in India.
As with every Reno smartphone in the past, design has always been a highlight. With the Nothing Phone 1‘s (First Impressions) flashy array of LEDs, I kind of expected something similar from Oppo with the Reno 8 Pro 5G, mainly because the Reno 7 Pro 5G also had an LED ring around its camera bump for notifications. However, the new Oppo Reno 8 Pro takes a more subtle design route with a classy look and no flashing LED lights.
The rear panel does not have a matte finish that most manufacturers seem to be going for these days, but instead uses a glossy finish. It’s made out of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 and has a raised camera module, which is fused with the rear glass panel itself. It all feels premium and looks very unique compared to everything else that I’ve seen in this price segment. Oppo also claims that the Reno 8 Pro has an official IP54 rating for dust and water resistance which is good to see at this price point. The frame is made out of metal, but the phone feels surprisingly light (183g), especially given its large footprint.

The main reason for the large footprint of the phone is the 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The company has retained the flat display design from the Reno 7 Pro 5G, which seems like a good move and the Reno 8 Pro 5G uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. The display has thin bezels all around but gets extra thin around the sides, giving the phone a very modern look.
The fingerprint scanner embedded into the display worked reliably during my initial use. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate which should be useful when playing certain games. There are also stereo speakers which Oppo claims should provide an immersive experience while gaming and watching videos.
The phone has MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100-Max SoC which has been customised by Oppo. This is indeed a big jump from the Dimensity 1200-Max SoC in the Reno 7 Pro 5G. The manufacturer has also included its imaging chipset called the MariSilicon X NPU (Neural Processing Unit) which it says is mainly used to optimise video recording. The Reno 8 Pro 5G can record HDR video up to 4K 30fps. We briefly saw this NPU in the Oppo Find X5 Pro (First look).
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G runs Oppo’s ColorOS 12.1 which is based on Android 12. Oppo promises support for two years of Android updates and four years of security updates with the Reno 8 Pro 5G, which is nice to have.

There are three cameras around the back of the phone and the setup is very similar to what we saw on the Reno 7 Pro 5G. There is a 50-megapixel primary with a Sony IMX766 sensor and for reasons best known to Oppo, does not have optical image stabilisation (OIS). There is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front-facing camera offers a 32-megapixel sensor like before, but now features autofocus.
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G’s battery has a 4,500mAh capacity, similar to the Reno 7 Pro 5G, but gets quicker charging at 80W (previously 65W). Oppo claims that its Reno 8 Pro can charge up to 50 percent in just 11 minutes, but I will have to test these claims in my full review.
Oppo’s Reno 8 Pro may be dressed to impress but with a price hike, it’s now stepped into a very competitive premium segment. Despite the recent sluggishness of XRP, the token is performing significantly better compared to other coins. The bulls successfully defended the $0.3 support and tried to reverse the trend by breaching above the crucial resistance.
As the price has not fallen following a false breakout, this indicates that the bulls may be stronger than the bears. Thus, the volume has increased, which is a positive indicator.
As of this writing, XRP is trading at $0.364, up 12% in the last seven days, data by Coingecko show, Monday.
Ripple has registered three consecutive green daily candles, and purchasers were able to increase the price by 15 percent till Friday evening. The primary concern, though, is whether this rally is sufficient enough to halt the intermediate-term bearish trend.
On a daily scale, buyers drove the price towards the short-term horizontal resistance at $0.4, attempting for a third time to breach the key breakthrough.
The 14-day RSI indicator entered positive territory and surged past the baseline at this time. This means that the bulls are now more dominant than they were previously.
Ripple has not been able to achieve a higher daily high for a quite a long time. Since May this year, sellers have kept the bulls from surpassing the previous peak (in yellow).

In order to begin a trend reversal, XRP must first establish a higher high above $0.4. In this instance, bearish momentum could eventually begin to diminish.
The bulls should then barrel past the horizontal barrier between $0.50 and $0.55 (in blue) before retesting the falling trendline (in red).
Overcoming the red static barrier that has been shading the price for a considerable amount of time might be a very bullish indicator for the token.

According to data from CoinMarketCap at the time of writing, the worldwide market capitalization of cryptocurrencies increased by 1.35 percent during the previous 24 hours, reaching approximately $980 billion.

The 24-hour volume of the worldwide cryptocurrency market declined 1.7% to $61 billion, while the 24-hour volume of DeFi was $5.55 billion, representing 9.0% of the global crypto market.
The volume of all stablecoins was $55.63 billion, or 90.72 percent of the 24-hour volume of the whole crypto market.
Currently, XRP is seeing resistance at the 50-day moving average. If there is a breakthrough, it will mark the first time since March 9 this year. Prior to a potential reversal, however, the price must first consolidate above the key resistance between $0.48 and $0.52.
