Pharrell Williams’s latest family outing was a grand slam. On Aug. 22, the “Happy” singer visited Yankees Stadium in New York City to celebrate the home team’s special-edition capsule collection with his streetwear label, Billionaire Boys Club. Joined by his wife, Helen Lasichanh, and their 13-year-old son, Rocket Ayer Williams, Pharrell kicked off the event by throwing the first pitch in front of a crowd of roaring fans.

For Rocket — who has accompanied his father to notable events over the years, including the Chanel Metiers D’Art 2021-2022 show in Paris, the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, and the Songwriters Hall of Fame 51st Annual Induction and Awards Gala — the baseball game seemed like another home run in a long list of family memories. In a video posted on Pharrell’s Instagram, the father-son duo even shared a sweet handshake after the ceremonial first pitch, a heartwarming on-camera moment surrounded by clips of the Billionaire Boys Club founder sporting the new Yankees-inspired apparel line.

Pharrell and Lasichanh are also parents to triplets born in 2017. While the singer has yet to announce the names of his three youngest children, his Instagram account is peppered with glimpses at the family’s everyday life. His first post, shared on June 25, 2021, features the father of four teaching Rocket how to skateboard. Another post, shared on Feb. 6, shows the family of six on a day trip to play with Legos. On Feb. 28, Pharrell also shared a photo of himself sandwiched between Lasichanh and Rocket in coordinated outfits at an Off-White show held in honor of Virgil Abloh.

The family’s outing comes just two months after Pharrell hosted his second annual Something in the Water music and culture festival in Washington DC. See photos of Rocket, Pharrell, and Lasichanh enjoying their day on the baseball diamond ahead.
