Weeks after its low-cost carrier Jetstar launched Sydney-Seoul service, Qantas has added direct service between the two cities, the carrier announced Friday.
The new route is to meet “growing demand.” Flights begin Dec. 10.
The 11-hour flight will operate four times weekly during the peak season and three times weekly between May and October using Airbus A330 aircraft, according to the carrier. Jetstar’s Sydney-Seoul service operates three times weekly. The combined schedules offer more than 200,000 seats on the route annually and flights six days per week, according to Qantas.
