Always growing and changing! Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s family has expanded and morphed in front of the public’s eyes as they appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and spinoff Don’t Be Tardy.
Kim and husband Kroy Biermann, who is seven years her junior, are parents of sons Kroy Jr., Kash and Kane and daughter Kaia. The former NFL player also adopted her daughters, Brielle Biermann and Ariana Biermann, from previous relationships in July 2013.
Brielle’s ever-changing look, due to lip injections, has been encouraged by her mother. “Why not? Shoot it up,” Kim said during a September 2016 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
The “Don’t Be Tardy” songstress also admitted to having some work done, though she denied undergoing plastic surgery to her face during an August 2015 sit-down with Andy Cohen.
Kim exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly in September 2018 that she had a breast reduction. “I just wanted a cup size smaller,” she said at the time. “Feeling fab at 40!!”
Kim opened up to Us in July 2018 about backlash surrounding her family. “When you talk about my kids, it does, at times, have an impact on me. You don’t even know our family like that,” she noted. “A lot of people that don’t even, is not a real follower or a real fan, it’s just somebody that just runs around to everybody’s page and is negative, at the end of the day. But my kids are definitely a touchy subject, or my husband.”
Another Zolciak-Biermann might be in the family’s future too. The “House of Kim” podcast host and Kroy frequently discussed planning for baby No. 7 on Don’t Be Tardy, which was canceled in May 2021 after eight seasons.

“This face 😍😍 ‘Dont Be Tardy’ Season 8 is a wrap for the kids 🙏🏼😉,” Kim wrote alongside a sweet snap of Kaia looking grown up while filming confessionals for their family reality show.
Brielle showed off her darker locks in February 2020. “Brunette Brielle is completely different than Blonde Brielle,” she quipped at the time.
“We are so proud of you ARIANA BIERMANN!!” Zolciak wrote via Instagram following her daughter’s Zoom high school graduation. “You maintained straights A’s (a couple B’s) here and there and filmed alllll 12 years during your schooling, you have the been the most incredible sister and daughter anyone could ever ask for, always willing to help your family, friends and anyone else that needed it.”

“I can’t believe you are 24! How??” the “Google Me” singer captioned throwback photos of Brielle via Instagram. “Where did the time go? Elle, I am so proud of the woman you have become. Your giving heart, your loyal nature, your sense of humor and your lack of patience makes you pretty special to all of us that are part of your world. The way you love your family and friends is a ride or die type of thing for you. I am so proud of YOU! Love you far beyond words could ever describe.”
The family announced that Don’t Be Tardy would not be returning after eight seasons on May 7, 2021.
“The Biermann family is extremely grateful for their 13 year plus relationship with Bravo and NBC Universal,” they told Us in a statement at the time. “We greatly appreciate and value the support from all of our fans as we continue to grow in the entertainment industry. In times of significant growth, there are steps that have to be strategically taken, but rest assured, you will see the Biermann family on your TV screens again very soon. Ariana was booked on driving under the influence of alcohol, underage possession/purchase of alcohol and misdemeanor improper/erratic lane change charges. The 20-year-old denied that she had been drinking prior to the incident with boyfriend Hudson McLeroy.
“Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI,” her attorney said at the time. “Despite Ariana’s constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case. She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them.”
Kim gushed over daughter Arielle in an Instagram post celebrating her 21st birthday. “I can’t believe how fast time has flown by!!” she wrote. “You have always made my job as your Mom so easy❤️ I’m forever grateful you chose ME to be your Mom 🙏🏼 Your generous heart, giving nature, commitment to your family & friends, the love you spread daily and the passion you have for life (and pastels) never goes unnoticed! Thank you for being YOU!!!! You are such a bright light in this world!”
